Lake Garda’s Chiaretto

Among Italy’s various rosé wines, Chiaretto from Lake Garda stands out with its fruitiness and delicate fragrance. Known as a “one-night wine” because, historically, its vinification took place with the must being in contact with the skins for just one night, thus conferring to Chiaretto from Garda its characteristic color and delicate structure. It is made from Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera grapes, typical of the Valtènesi D.O.C.. This wine is an authentic expression of Lake Garda’s terroir, and is appreciated for its elegance and freshness.
