Its transparent carmine-red hue hints at the glowing aura of the first 100% Groppello from Cà Maiol, a tribute to the terroir and to the tradition of red grape vines that have always expressed the unique character of this zone lying between the lake and the sky. Notes of just-picked cherries and wild roses, as well as a harmonious blend of berry fruits that mingle with juicy blood orange, give way to a highly appealing and surprisingly tangy palate. Elegant, persistent and sophisticated, it displays mellow, rarefied tannins, while its gamut of flavours gains – sip after sip - in complexity, bringing to mind the whisper of wisdom of the ancient vines.
